Tollefson Day 2010 was not the best Tollefson Day ever, but we managed to have some fun. We started off the day at the church. Seth signed up to donate blood. There was a blood drive and a preparedness fair. I don't think we were prepared for how long it was going to take to do the blood donation. They had a fire truck and the life flight helicopter there for the kids to check out. I walked through the preparedness fair and got some information and saw the best wheat grinder ever. It is now on my wish list. So Seth finally got done giving his blood and we were off to turn in our cans at the recycling company that we saved up for a year. We showed up a half hour after they closed. So we went to lunch. We didn't go where we wanted to go, cause it was terrible busy and we were hungry. We ended up going to Denny's. They had one of those claw machines with the stuffed animals. We gave the kids each a turn. They didn't have any luck, so Dad had a turn and got a bear for Sophie. Then we were off to go bowling. Bowling was the highlight of the day. It was really fun. I don't think any of us got a good score. Before we headed home we stopped at Walmart to let the kids pick out something small. We usually use our can money to get something fun, but we missed the boat.
