Crazy Hair

Poor Sophie has crazy hair. She woke up Sunday morning looking like this, so we just took her to church like that. It got a couple good laughs. I did try to put a pony in it but she took it out twice.

Happy Birthday Anders!

Anders turned 4. He has such a nice smile. We had all of our cousins over(the local ones anyway) for cake and ice cream.

Idaho Falls Temple

After the New Year Seth and I went down to the Idaho Falls Temple to be there for our friends Jake and Sarah's sealing. We also were able to get some of my families temple work done.

Christmas 2009

Grandma Leslie and Abby, Anders and Sophie. Abby and Porter wrestling. Anders, Abby, Anika and Hailey. The kids had a good Christmas and it was good to see all the local family.

Anders is Silly!

I didn't want to put this dirty picture on our blog, but it was so funny. We went to pick up some chicken feed the other day and the charming fellows at Trader Brothers had this elk head, deer head and antelope head stuffed into a basketball hoop in the parking lot. Seth pulled up next to it and said "Hey, look Anders!" Anders looked out the window at it for a few seconds with his eyes super wide, then said excitedly, "Wow! Can we buy that?!"

Loads of Fun

We got a bunch of snow this weekend so we took advantage of it. Seth tied some sleds to the back of the 4 wheeler and pulled the kids around. Abby and Aidan wanted to go fast and Anders wanted to go slow. That was lots of fun. Then we went in and had hot chocolate and dinner and decorated cookies. Seth helped the Boyce's out and so Sister Boyce repays us with baked goods. She made us all the cookies and frosting. Thanks Sister Boyce!

Santa

We went to see Santa. Anders and Sophie were not going to sit on Santa's lap. Maybe next year.

Snowflakes

Aidan had his school program. He was the most handsome guy up there.

Wishbone

After Thanksgiving we always save our wishbone. Aidan got the wish.

The First Hunt

Seth took Aidan out hunting with him this year. He was a good little hunter. They hiked all over but didn't bring anything home.

Happy Thanksgiving!

This Thanksgiving I made Chocolate Mousse Pie. Oh, it is so good! And Abby made a salad all by herself. She loves to help in the kitchen.

Cookies for FHE

For family Home evening this week we had a cookie demo. I let everyone put all the different ingredients in, then I showed them how the mixer worked and after that they all took turns scooping it onto the cookie sheets. While they baked we played a game. What a simple thing to do. It was fun and we are learning how to work together.

Toothless Wonder

This Kid...We're sitting in church and Aidan pulls out one of his front teeth. Then two weeks later does the same thing. Who needs coloring when you have teeth to pull out. He's going to be singing all I want for Christmas are my two front teeth this year.

Halloween

We love Halloween! Abby was a pirate, Aidan was the Grim Reaper, Anders was Bumble Bee Transformer and Sophie was a pumpkin. While we were out trick-or-treating Aidan won best costume from a house that was decorated really nice. And I won best trunk at the trunk-or-treat.

Pumpkins

We got our pumpkins carved. Anders could not even look inside the pumpkin and Sophie was having loads of fun just playing in the guts we pulled out. Abby got to cut hers out all by herself this year. Aidan colored his pumpkin face on and mom cut it out. They all look good.

Another tooth

Aidan lost one of the big ones.

Grandma Pam

Grandma Pam came for a visit. It was short, but we all enjoyed seeing her. Grandma sang silly songs for Abby to dance to. Aidan and Grandma got in a game of chess.
